CLASS DESCRIPTION: Great class for any age child but please remember: the younger the child...the more an adult will have to help keep up with instructions! More appropriate for 6+ but any age child should be able to participate. We have limited table space, so more than likely adults will need to hang out in the wings so the children have room to work at their creative stations (except for the "littles"... smaller children will need adult help).
Everything needed to complete 6 Sugar Cookies with Buttercream frosting as shown will be included. This will be a "guided" class where I will teach the kids step-by-step how to do several buttercream techniques. I will have some of the prep work done in advance to be sure this class is fun and moves along quickly. During this class, kids will learn how to fill and use piping bags and how to use several pastry tips to get fun designs on cookies. I will provide the cookies - one Mitten, one Stocking, one Wreath, one Tree, one hat and one Snowflake. We will use white, winter blue, red and green frosting in the class and I will provide icing bags with tips (not to keep), some fun and festive sprinkles to dress it up and a box to take home their creations at the end of the day.
*Finished decorated cookies are yours to take home. Extra icing will be yours also - after I remove the pastry tips/couplers (those will be mine)! *I will have additional "kids-KOOKIE-kits" available that day for purchase (cash or VENMO, please) if any family/child wants more cookies & frostings to take home at the end of the day! Cost $25/each for 1 dozen cookies, 3 bags of buttercream and 3 cups of sprinkles.
